Advocatuur at Rosewood Amsterdam has unveiled an exciting year-long programme of events in celebration of women in hospitality and designed to spark meaningful change. Curated by Bar Manager Jamie Bokhorst and global community Celebrate Her, the bar will host a compelling lineup of women who are shaping and redefining their fields, both inside the drinks industry and beyond.
The first event, marking Celebrate Her’s debut in the Netherlands, will take place on Tuesday 24th February, with a day of thought-provoking talks and conversations by some of international hospitality’s leading women, followed by an evening takeover from leading female bartender: Hedda Bruce, Bar Manager of Tjoget, Stockholm.
Attendees can expect a thought‑provoking and informative afternoon, with sessions covering a broad spectrum of topics. Speakers will include the renowned Monica Berg from Tayēr + Elementary, Ara Carvallo, wildlife conservationist, Benelux’s Worlds 50 Best Bars Academy Chair, and member of the educational committee for Tales of the Cocktail and Mandy Naglich, a freelance journalist specialising in drinks, beer, and food culture, and regular television expert commentator.
Further events of the partnership will be confirmed throughout the year, which will all be held at Advocatuur and Rosewood Amsterdam.
