Roasters Kolektiva from Serres, Northern Greece has strengthened its presence in Athens. The works, which were recently completed, had started in March. The new branch of the micro-roastery is operating in Agia Paraskevi since the beginning of August.
Roasters Kolektiva decided to proceed with the investment in Agia Paraskevi in order to offer even better services to its partners. The new space will host the wholesale for Attica and Southern Greece, as well as the warehouse that will serve these areas. In the future, the three-storey building will host the seminars offered by the company throughout its operation in Thessaloniki.
On the ground floor is the retail store, where consumers have the opportunity to choose from freshly roasted blends from around the world such as Colombia, Brazil, Mexico and Guatemala among others. In the refrigerators, cold beers of Siris Microbrewery –based also in Serres– are available, while more than 10 different options for tea are offered. The space is dominated by stone and wood, with simple lines and a huge bench in the center for waiting and many stools and counters for enjoying coffee in combination with cold snacks and various pies that are available in the store.
“The store is suitable for take away, but also for short, more business-like quality coffees with a tablet or laptop” according to Panagiotis Matziounis, owner of Roasters Kolektiva, who continues: “Our desire is to provide quality daily coffee to retail customers and even more direct services to our existing partners as well as to the new ones we expect to have in the future through the investment in the third branch of our company “.
With the start of the winter season, even more announcements and activities are expected from Roasters Kolektiva.
