The presentation of the new bottle took place within the premises of Athens Technopolis in Gkazi on the occasion of Athens Bar Show 2017.
Tequila Reserva de la Familia is the jewel of Casa Cuervo and comes from the family’s private collection. The blend is built from tequilas aged at least for 3 years in oak barrels, while the ageing process can reach even 15 years. Each bottle of Tequila Reserva de la Familia is cased, numbered, signed and dated by hand, hence its limited production. José Cuervo Reserva de la Familia was introduced in 1995 to celebrate the 200-year anniversary as the world’s leading producer of tequila.
It is an authentic piece of collection, since 1995 Tequila Reserva de la Familia Extra Añejo has the honor of working with famous Mexican artists, who create a work of art in each of their Limited Editions. This year’s bottle case is called “Tequioh” and was made by Abraham Cruzvillegas. “Tequioh” joins texts, sculptures and drawings on paper and canvas, that refer to the physical labor of the Tequila production.
The introducer in this unique experience was the Brand Ambassador of Jose Cuervo and the only non-Mexican Tequila Connoisseur Mr. Stelios Papadopoulos. The guests had the opportunity to see the different production stages of Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia Extra Anejo, while at the end of the presentation they tasted the Reserva de la Familia Extra Anejo bottled in 2016, that is currently sold in premium liquor stores and selected on trade outlets.
